Welcome to C & W Components
C & W Components was established in 2002 by Wally Deskins and he was soon joined by his son Michael. Originally specializing in Model A & 1932 ford chassis, C & W Components now manufacture all ford chassis form 1928 – 1940 .Chassis at different levels of completion are available to suit the different needs of hot rodders ranging from the novice right up to the experienced.
A need for fibreglass bodies to compliment the chassis soon became a priority , thus allowing customers to purchase a body and a chassis from the same place. A 1932 ford roadster , 3 window coupe and 1931 ford Victoria were the first fibreglass bodies available in the C & W Components now extensive product range.
After research and development , the vacuum infusion process was adopted. This was applied to the floor and firewall, combined with fibreglass structure pillars & an internal roof structure panel, the FULL COMPOSITE BODY was born. This effectively reduces the weight and doubles the strength of the cab of the vehicle. After undergoing some vigorous testing by an engineer , this new full composite structure produced great results. Now all of the 13 body styles available from C &W Components are manufactured this way, and come standard with and engineer certificate. Wally’s son Todd ,who is a composite technician , has joined the C & W Components team and specializes in the manufacturing of the full composite bodies.
